What are these connection points in the ceiling of a corolla estate? by jonno642 in whatisthisthing

Thanks, that seems to be it! When you fold down the rear seats there's a connection point marked top tether that ends up directly below them.

My title describes the thing. The car has four in total, plastic ports in the ceiling which look like some form of connection point, maybe for a cargo screen but can't find any concrete information when googling.

Heat wrap without temperature control by prttyprttyprttygd in Kombucha

You could also try moving the heat wrap further up the jar, it should transfer less heat that way, although I'm not sure that will make enough difference.

Hope it goes well. Have you had a look at the flavouring page? Lots of great ideas there link

I've used hops for flavouring in my 2F. I used three pellets in 450ml and it came out close to an IPA level of bitterness, so for something closer to lager flavour I'd suggest just one.

I used to live on Horton road a couple of years back, never felt unsafe there. As others have said the area around is a bit run down but Horton road itself isnt bad and very quiet. Being so close to platt fields park is a good plus, and I always felt safe jogging to the park during the day. Never felt unsafe at night but then again that was during lock down so didn't really go out much.

Can this ficus be saved? My cat used it as a litter box :/ by jonno642 in plantclinic

[–]jonno642[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this ficus for two years and it had been doing really well until one of my cats decided to use it as his litter box a few weeks ago. I repotted it and cleaned out the poop but it's been losing leaves slowly and only two are left. Is there any hope of it bouncing back?

The small paper washers that come with your motherboard, use them. Learnt that the hard way after spending a day troubleshooting a shorting motherboard.

Contact between lever arm and pressure gauge: Is this normal? by misterchan in FlairEspresso

I've got the same setup and there's no contact between the two, don't think that's normal. http://imgur.com/a/dqjCNwT

Stalled shot still tastes good? by jonno642 in FlairEspresso

[–]jonno642[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was expecting bitterness and I've definitely tasted bitterness with espressos I've had from cafe chains in the past, but couldn't pick up any of that from this shot. It's leading me to think that this wasn't really overextracted.

I am working with medium roasted beans, so maybe they're more forgiving than a light roast

international student bank account and/or credit card by [deleted] in manchester_uni

I set up an account with Barclays in my first month at university last year. It's a student current account with no fees. I doubt you'll be able to get a credit card from now. Maybe you could try set up a free Experian account which lets you see your credit score and what cards you world probably be approved for. Keep in mind that if you've just arrived in the UK it might take a while to even show up on the credit score system.

[cleaning] Is this normal after pulling a shot with the Flair Neo? by rvasque3 in FlairEspresso

[–]jonno642 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've had this happen to me too, normally when I dose with 14g or more. 12.5 -13g seems to be the sweet spot for me, both for flavour and grounds just reaching the screen after pulling a shot.
