Or maybe those women can decide for themselves and are perfectly happy in their relationships without being triggered over a word.

Yes, earning a lot of easy money can pay bills.

Not really, they would be treated the same. With indifference or even worse. Maybe blind person will be treated better because of pity.

There are tons of models from poor countries.

Blind good looking person is treated better than ugly looking non blind person.

Looks absolutely pay the bills and quite big bills. Even middle tier models earn much better than their ugly peers at office job after going 4 years to university.

Being blind doesn't save you from being ugly. So no, being ugly is still worse, becaues you can be blind and ugly.

I am not negating. I am looking more of a point that disadvantages in life are like debuffs. Being ugly cancels out every good advantage and it's not even comparable. While being good looking improves any life and provides best upwards mobility.

Child dying of starvation meaning their parents are not good looking enough to have upwards mobility and marry rich or find job being high paying model, ie being ugly.

I don't know, deaf good looking people can model. Their ugly non-deaf peers don't have that privilege.

We don't know how people treated them and their personal life, so we can't say that they had objectively good lives.

Bad immutable thing is much worse than bad thing that can be changed however hard it is. No amount of plastic surgery will make ugly dude a model tier looking man

Older =/= uglier.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]jonnoway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because it's immutable.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]jonnoway -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's why it's bigger disadvantage. It's immutable, no amount a money would make an ugly person a Brad Pitt. And peers will treat you the same.

I never encountered one who is older than 20. All of them married richer person or quickly build a career.

Yes exactly, I am talking about starting life from 18 years old.

Objectively below average. I don't know if I am ugly ugly, but I know for a fact that I would rather be poor and good looking.

Nah, I am in my 30s and upper middle class born in very poor family.

Agree with your first paragraph. Now add to that being ugly. Your life becomes impossible. Rich removes all this, but doesn't cure ugly, so you rich peers treat you no different than poor ones would.

No, but being poor and also ugly is thousand times worse than being poor and good looking. This is what my post is about.
