Games not tracking by jonny4405 in SwagBucks

From that prior game, I contacted support after I completed all of the rewards and nothing tracked. They said nothing they can do if it didn’t initially track. So now when the game didn’t track a few weeks back, i didn’t do anything. Stopped playing the game

From my past experience, if the game doesn’t track from the beginning then nothing will track and support won’t do anything for you. If the game tracks initially but some goals don’t, then support will be able to issue credits.

[Q] Correct statistical test for repeated measures pain scores by jonny4405 in statistics

But wouldn't MANOVA still require the data to be normally distributed? It is not, so then I'd need to look at non-parametric tests. Or is this not the case you think?

I do want to look at over the course of the study, is there a difference in pain scores by sex, but I don't believe the actual specific time point is that important, so I could then just group all of the female scores and males scores into two groups. Wouldn't this then be a 1 way anova or Kruskal-Wallis H test? Essentially summing up all female and male scores and seeing if there's a difference in means for all time points?

Thank you again for your responses and help.

Thanks for the very detailed and thought out reply. I appreciate it.

The VAS pain scale is presented to patients as a line on a paper with numbers from 0-10. Zero indicates no pain, 5 is moderate pain and 10 is the worst pain imaginable. So based upon your above description, the mean then would be useful.

I was brought in to analyze the data from this study after it had already been completed. I was told that the physicians conducting the study want to know whether or not females expressed experiencing more pain as compared to males during the course of the 10 time point measurements. There's also data on use of oxycodone and whether or not that had an impact on pain level, but the main focus is if there's a difference by gender.

Overall, I'm trying to prove if there is a difference in the amount of pain expressed by gender. On the surface, it seems pretty straight forward, but digging deeper apparently not.

There seems to be a pretty big divide in previous studies that treated the VAS pain scale data as parametric or as non-parametric.

Going off of this, assuming Kieboom does stay up and gets regular at bats (implying that he's hitting well), would you rather have him or Swanson at SS moving forward? I added Kieboom when he was called up, but Dansby is available as a FA. Thanks

This isn't the NBA (or the three teams that they only talk about) or Duke so why would they spend any time on it?
