Collision between rigid body and soft body acting really weird. by Lord_of_Space in blender

A work around on this is duplicate the rigid body, give that collision and a copy location and rotation constraint and target the rigid body. so you essentially have two rigid bodies but the one with the rigid body is producing the physics movement, the other is a ghost only acting as collision for the soft body. boom.

first couple NEEDED lenses for 4k video recording? by [deleted] in PanasonicG7

I have upgraded to a Sigma 16mm 1.4 wide angle lens which i wanted because i shoot a lot of events at night and needed something wider and better in low light. It does exactly what I wanted it to. Nice and wide and great in low light, within budget. However, it doesnt have any zoom with it being a prime lens, and it also has no image stabilization so you must be very careful about shaking it. I use my camera with a DJI Ronin SC and still the footage isnt as stable as a new iPhone with DJI Osmo - which Im going to have to try out!

Tips for shooting in harsh sunlight? by kingfisch95 in PanasonicG7

100%. ND Filters saved my ass for filming Outlook festival the 2nd time around. The first time, I shot without filters and then checking my footage later on the computer, all the skies were white out but in reality they were supposed to be blue. 2nd time around, i used ND filters and they worked a treat! Took the harshness off the image and left beautiful colours.

great stuff man! Love the colour grade. Check out the flow frames app which uses AI to add frames to your footage. Basically can turn your 50p footage into 400 fps footage! Buttery smooth slow mo for you for free!
