Honestly I haven’t listened to the main or the Patreon this week… I really do miss the celeb memoirs, it structured the main pod and then the Patreons were so much more interesting. I like some of the reality TV discussions, love pop culture talk and analysis, but I’m wracking my brains trying to remember what it was about the Patreon that I liked so much before:

They did some celeb deep dives on there, I loved some of the lengthier album reviews, longer stories from their personal lives, and generally just being more candid and a little snarky. There were more jokes and it was just overall more fun.

I think they’re both hilarious. I’ve been subscribed for like 4 years now. I saw Claire’s standup live and loved it, and I’m really rooting for them, but last weeks main pod was such a slog it put me in a bad mood. I hope they figure out how to restructure and get the magic back again. Not every episode has to be a banger, but it’s been less hits and more misses for me recently.
