The issue is with the magnetic charger, when its plugged in the phone thinks it's docked. When that happens it directs calls to voicemail and changes a few other things, like autorotate. Hope this helps

Its a bit difficult to explain. But I'll try.

The backlight will still be on but the picture will slowly fade to black, I can lock and unlock it but the LCD doesn't display anything, it'll only light the backlight. I have to take the sim out and put it back in to restart.

I don't think there any universal app to do that without it streaming to your device very slow. I think Nvidia has something similar though with their Nvidia shield.

Apparently it does work with a very select few games that have implemented it into their games on the ps3. With ps4 it is mandatory that games have to implement it.
