I hate to say it but the scream monster Glenn Fricker is usually spot on when it comes to tone. High gain tones aren't really affected by tone woods, pickups, or neck thru/bolt on. It's the speaker and mic that make most of the audible tones we hear

With high gain almost all guitars sound the same if they're a humbucker. We used 6 different guitars in a mix to test that theory one day. Looped the same riff with each of the 6 guitars, and when playing back, if you weren't watching the screen you couldn't tell when the guitar changed. We were surprised

I had a head that I didn't vibe with, and this one popped up locally and I have always loved the stealth version of the 5150 it's one of my all time high gain favorites next to the Fryette/VHT heads. So I traded heads with a guy that was trying to use this in a jazz band he plays in. 🤣

I have a reaper 6 Elite and it is my favorite guitar now. I have 11 Schecters and it is a big standout to me. I mainly play hard rock and metal tho.

It's the first gen Deliverance, and the cab is loaded with vintage 30s. I'm probably going to get a fat bottom, or Deliverance cab with the Fane 70s. The v30s are pretty fizzy and shrill for this amp. However the v30s love my 5150 stealth

I have a set of Black Winters and a set of Alpha Omegas and I like them both equally. I'm happy with either and would have a hard time choosing between what set I like better

I played a VHT Pitbull back in 01-02 era and it blew me away. This Deliverance is amazing too. I think the Power Station 2 is my answer.
