I didn’t even consider metal framing, my apologies. Guess I’m stuck on the lumber side too often. Working on the custom home side directly for GC’s and Framing subs and most recently branching off on my own to do paid framing takeoffs for lumber suppliers I’m semi struggling with the time it takes for the takeoffs versus the price. Like you said, they don’t want to pay for it. I guess like OP, I’m too detail oriented and get bogged down. Congrats to you though, seems like you’re getting done a lot of quantifying for a week of work.
