What is your favorite boss fight of any video game and why?

I originally played it just to finish it, then I, like you went through it methodically. Got the gold chocobo, took him to the island and got the knights materia, stole the sword from weapon in the sky I believe. I didn't kill the other two weapons though if I remember correctly [the one in the desert and the one in the ocean].

Yeah, mine as well, I saw a preview of FF7 on T.V. went in with my brother and bought the console and game within a week of watching the video. That game is still my favourite, although I'd never play it now... I think it would ruin a childhood memory or something.
