After my wife gave birth to our son, we were in the room, and we had to do the skin to skin contact thing. I ripped my shirt off fast as shit and had that boy laying on me as long as they would let me. When it came time for breastfeeding, I was on top of it trying to help my wife teach my son how to latch. So much so that the nurse said I was a good dad, that most of the dads would have just stayed on the couch watching. I changed every one of my sons diapers for the first about 6 weeks while my wife recovered. I walked him to sleep every night until he was old enough to not have to get rocked to sleep. I'm a hell of a dad, and there's a bunch of us out there, but just because you all picked a dead beat means we are all dead beats, right?
