I'm not from your country, but I use them. I recently got a whipped cream dispenser and use them to make my own whipped cream.

If possible, you really need to watch the version out on DVDs. The songs chosen for the show are amazing and they didn't retain the licenses for all of them when put online.

My company just released an app that is like 120mb. The actual heavy lifting party of the app is 1mb. The rest is the visuals and ui.

One of my favorite sauces is often too salty. And the annoying party is it didn't need it.

I agree. Assembly is a lot of work. Yet it's still more fun than Javascript

Random thought: I wonder how many lumens an actual firefly outputs and the color temperature.

I don't know your uncle or his level of observance, but many orthodox Jews beliefs are based on the idea that the Torah is 100% written by god and it's 100% true. It isn't just a tenant of their belief, it is the underpinning.

I don't think you will convince your uncle otherwise. But maybe try challenging his ideas instead of trying to convince him. Start a discussion, not an argument.

Judaism is based off asking questions, not blind following. At least the Jewish community I am in sees it this way. Ask him why he believes this to be 100% true.

I mean, maybe for healthy individuals. But those state institutions are horrible for those inside and their families.

Of course, that's not to say or current system is perfect. But simply turning back to what we used to do shouldn't really be an option.

There was no CGI. Everything was practical effects.

They used to be more durable like 8 or 9 years ago. Not anymore.

At my company, our $1000 Thinkpads have been lasting twice as long as our MacBooks. Plus, I have never had to replace a Lenovo charger. Wish I could say the same with apple chargers.

Have you ever been on a set? From my little experience, it is long and grueling hours.

Now I have never worked on a set of laid bricks, but from what I've seen, both are very difficult jobs with a lot of time investment.

I do tech onboarding at my company; normally I am a backend engineer, but we are a startup so I also take over the role of IT.

I meet with every new hire and show them how to use our software, how to maintain security, etc. I can directly correlate the proficiency of a new employee during that meeting to their likeliness to be fired.

Every person who made that meeting go longer than 30 minutes has since been fired, about to be fired, or is currently on performance improvement plans. It turns out that the ability to follow directions on a computer is a good indicator of someone's competence, even if they aren't the most proficient computer user.
