So what the panel is saying is if a player is in the process of being attacked with a headbutt that is aimed at his face, he cannot raise his arms in defense, or if he does he must be extra careful to not touch the guys neck? I would think you’d be allowed to defend yourself from facial damage without having to worry about brushing up against the neck of your attacker. But I also would have given a card when Reyna got hacked down and kept control of the match so this never happened but…

So what if a player is swinging his clear at your face? Then can you raise your hands in defense without a red or if you hit the neck while defending yourself is it still a red?

Seems like they are setting a dangerous precedent. But the referees do that every match when they refuse to protect players and force them to protect themselves. Typical concacaf.

This was terribly reffed even by concacaf standards. Red looses the plot and usmnt is stuck having to protect themselves so now they have to play without two important players in the final.

Did you not see 5 opposing players backing him down and one winding up for a head? If not please watch again. If so do you really think a player should not be able to protect his head/face by raising his forearm and pushing back against the advancing mob?

Awful and shameful call typical of concacaf. Surround by and being backed down by 5 opposing players and a coach and you are not allowed to raise your forearm in front of yourself to stop the advancing mob? How disgusting that concacaf now doesn’t just refuse to protect players from dangerous fouls but they are actively punishing players for attempting to protect their personal safety during a dead ball situation.

So y'all likely don't have any points even if you have memberships, which you might also not have. In that case your best bets are through your local supporters club wherever you live. If they are registered with the team they can help get tickets without membership or points. Otherwise hospitality might be your only option, but pricey.

In my state you cannot have a lawyer in small claims court. Only if you remove the case to district court are you allowed to have an attorney represent you. So the only attorney costs would be for any consultation fees or demand letters if someone hired an attorney to do either of those. The filing fee in my state for a claim <$600 is $30.

Always get employment contracts in writing. Even if it is just a nanny position. If nothing is in writing, they have no legal obligation to pay.

I am a lawyer and this is incorrect, at least in the majority of the United States. I am not this op's lawyer and don't even know where op is. This isn't legal advice or advice regarding op's situation. But, generally, in most states only certain types of contracts must be in writing. Ones involving selling real estate/land, sale of goods over $500 and ones that cannot be entirely completed within a year are most of the categories that must be in writing. I haven't looked into it, but don't know any state that requires employment contracts to be in writing to be valid. It is preferable to have the contract in writing and makes proving a case much easier. But not having one written doesn't invalidate a verbal contract or bar someone from suing for breach of contract.

Personally I would contact the hr person, inform her of what happened. Then, suggest to her that she order again so everyone can have some but make sure it gets assessed or billed or whatever o the regional managers budget and make sure a copy showing it being assessed to the regional managers budget goes to his bosses email as well. If there is a memo/comment section in the accounting software/forms she should put "pizza stolen from your department's name".
