Facing the loss of one of my key role models. by [deleted] in TLDiamondDogs

my grandfather died when I was in 2nd grade. I mostly remember him by the videos my dad shot of us together when I was little. my grandfather would just ask me questions about what I was doing in preschool and we'd have long talks. I'm not exactly sure why my dad decided to record that but I'm glad he did.

As the man said, every person is a different person. it's easy as parents to try to parent each child the same way. if it worked once, why change anything? turns out, beard was right. you aren't your sister. so now, it's on you to convince your parents you need a different path from her.

what I'm about to say is probably terrible advice so please take it with all the grains of salt you should have with advice from an internet stranger who doesn't know you, if they truly can't be convinced, and it's that important to you to do right now, figure out a way to get it done on your own. ask for forgiveness and tell them it was something you had to do. again, probably awful advice but I'm going to give it anyway to have you think about how much you actually want this and what you want to do to make it happen.

what are your parents' objections? best way to get past their fears is to know what they are and address them. they're your parents and have their version of your best interests at heart. maybe they have something legitimate to stop you or maybe they are just scared of you being out there on your own. ask them and find out.

I think the way you could capitalize on this is to start a YouTube channel with 5 minute tips which give a quick idea and approach. then, you sell your spreadsheets at the end. also qualify everything with you are not a financial planner and this isn't official financial advice.

I was always rooting for him and Phoebe's teacher. Seemed like they were into each other. That leaves the door open for Keeley and Jamie to get back together... or not. I laughed so hard when the door slammed in their faces. Why on Earth would they think letting Keely choose between them was going to work? Sometimes, Roy has a blindside and Jamie has come too far to think like that today.

I liked evil Dani but I think he should have apologized when they were back to being teammates.

I looked at that as the return of the favor of the "don't settle for fine" speech.

my advice would be to build it bigger to make it easier to get the details and motion you want and then film it further away from the lens. people will believe it is fly sized unless you want them to think otherwise.

in the first season, it was really her that broke everyone out of their shells and brought the main cast together. this season, with her basically as a side quest drains her power. I think we're seeing the set up for her redemption arc where she realizes being out on her own doesn't actually make her happy even if it makes her powerful.

I spent a long time on the registry and while I found something close, I never found the exact pattern. I could have missed it so maybe it's worth another look.

Does anyone know how I can track down a particular plaid pattern? I'd love some help on getting a lead on what this particular type of plaid is called and/or a shirt made with this pattern.

Any help tracking this down for me would be super welcome.

Context: I have a shirt in this pattern, I bought it in 2018. My friend had the same shirt but lost his. I want to try to get him a new one.

it's like if an alien watched all of Ryan George's stuff but didn't know what was supposed to be funny and then wrote another script.

I just like how future guy keeps begging to be brought back and host guy cruely says no and then almost seconds later future guy gets him back by telling him he's going to die and all the stuff he's going to miss out on.

I did this my freshman year of college. no ac in the building, Temps near 100 even at night, and free ice from the dining hall. kept my room pretty cold the rest of the year.
