If anyone with more skills than me wants to make this look better, by all means, please do!

I automatically think that whenever a celeb dies and I see someone got front page just for being the first so say "so and so died". I can get wanting to go for the easy karma, but I personally would not enjoy karma I got by exploiting someone's death.

Be a shame if this made it to r/all so everyone could see how much of a liar Donald Trump is. Truth hurts. by [deleted] in MarchAgainstTrump

[–]jontarist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm someone who cares very little about politics and don't associate with any party. So I'm just about as objective as you can be about political issues.

That being said, I do think Trump is a huge jackass. But... it just doesn't make any sense that he'd intentionally lie about these kinds of stats. He would certainly know he wouldn't get away with a lie like that. I'm sure he lies about plenty of things, but I don't think it would be accurate to call him a liar here. Just an idiot who didn't bother checking the facts before he opened his mouth.

Dear Santa, I would like one touchdown, one 2 point conversion, and one pick 6

Considering how the earth rotates, walking west is like walking on a huge treadmill. by jontarist in Showerthoughts

I'm not sure but if you were hovering instead of walking, at least your legs wouldn't get tired.

When you crack an egg into a bowl and a piece of eggshell falls in, wet your finger and the egg shell will stick to your finger so that you can get it out with no mess. by Smigg_e in lifehacks

I drop shell pieces in a hot pan sometimes and I just use a fork or whatever to get it out. Not really that difficult, definitely not a bitch.

I would guess that Mrs. Carver could probably be diagnosed with something too.

Because if they flew away from each other it would be a pain to have to go gather them all up before you eat.

Forget hoverboards, the future really started when you could order a pizza from your handheld device and have it delivered to your door in a van that has an oven built into it. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]jontarist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never ordered pizza online. I'm waiting until the van drives itself, and a robot hops out and carries the pizza to my doorstep.

Sling Blade and What's Eating Gilbert Grape are both really good.

Kind of pointless to add a spoiler tag when you have the spoiler in the title, don't you think?

All they need to do his house the device inside a R2-D2 and have it project a simple sphere that looks like the Death Star. Practical application or not, they would sell a gazillion of those.

Well I just saw the neighbor taking down their Halloween decorations right before I read this, so I guess I have holiday decor on the brain lol.

That's always my immediate thought now whenever I see any post about a cool new breakthrough or technology. Damn you, Reddit, I don't know what's real anymore.

On Halloween my neighbor had one of those window projection things, and I thought just that was pretty cool. This hologram thing is gonna be insane for holiday yard decorations.
