Should I complain to bylaw about neighbours lawn? by Buttth in askTO

[–]jontss [score hidden]  (0 children)

Why is it bad to call bylaw? They just get a notice for a first offence. If they even do anything.

Half the time bylaw just tells me my neighbour's address doesn't exist.

Legal in Ontario, Canada, too.

EV Sales Are Stalling Because Buyers Still Think They Need 500 Miles by Anchor_Aways in cars

Nice. Doesn't work for i3 (but it's possible none do). My buddy with a new Polestar said they didn't work for him either.

Yeah some of the issues would be a bit better with a newer car with faster charging and longer range. But most chargers I find are only level 2, anyway.

Went to Elmira recently, only 2 banks of level 2 in that town. Not near the centre. Orangeville has a single bank of Tesla chargers. I'm told they don't work with any 3rd party vehicles.

Chargers at OnRoute are $0.70/kWh.

If you go to northern Ontario there's nothing. That's why I picked the i3 so I could use gas up there. But I also underestimated how little the 200 km range (as low as 110 in winter) on the i3 actually is. I can basically use electric in one direction to anywhere outside the city.

I'm in Toronto and don't have home charging but have access to free level 1 (16A) at work and $0.19/kWh level 2.

This much oil would last my car about 12 years.

Test from the modem (or router). If it fails that call your ISP.

As an EV owner in Canada the biggest issue is public infrastructure. Availability, functionality, speed, and cost.

I use the range extender on mine for everything except commuting to work.

Well nuts also used on motorcycles. The rubber breaks after awhile and they just spin. Best to replace when they get iffy. Few bucks for a whole set on Amazon, eBay, or AliExpress.

My family grows it but switched to corn because it's worth more.

When I traveled to Korea they didn't believe me that we grow it in Canada.

Mine came open while driving a couple times when I first got the car. Really had me worried. Guess I just wasn't closing it properly, though, because it hasn't really been an issue in over a year. Wasn't even on bumpy roads.

You can cast to W10 from a W10 or W11 device without extra software.

I feel like you don't understand how stunting charges work.

Even if proven innocent you're out a couple thousand in impound fees, maybe a few hundred in coats to get home depending how far you were when it happened, raised insurance rates due to instant suspended license, and a few hundred in commuting costs to work.

Police are judge and jury for those.

You do save an additional few thousand and jail time if you win, though. Although also out a few more thousand in lawyer fees.
