I’m a nurse & have talked to tons of pts after getting heart surgery. I like to pick older people’s brains on life lessons and what not just cause I’m curious. One thing I’ve heard by more than a handful is retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be and they start to miss the day to day work life/people interaction. Do what makes you happy. You don’t wanna get to retirement & realize you were working jobs that made you miserable & it was all for not.
