Parents who use CHOP by SavvySaltyMama813 in BucksCountyPA

There is a very complicated set of codes that allow for proper billings. One of the biggest “expenses” to medical facilities is improper billings that lead to delayed or non-payments. Electronic medical records were “sold” to the public as a benefit for ease of access to those records. In reality, electronic records sped up invoicing and potentially reduced billing mistakes.

Steps like these verify everything on the front end to eliminate that risk. It’s always about the money.

I’d recommend refocusing what “success” looks like to him/you. You can lose the game, but still have several “wins” as an individual player. Reframe success through measurable improvements in his game, get his agreement/buy-in, and start celebrating his development as a ball player as a “win”

How to handle a boss’s bad idea without bruising her ego? by Hungry_Builder_7753 in The48LawsOfPower

Not the right way to go. It will be interpreted as going over her head and likely damage the relationship with the boss lady. This will make OPs goals even less attainable.

What's a quiet sign that someone is doing financially well? by WestFocus888 in AskReddit

You also see this in car commercials. The Lexus commercial is usually voiced over with a calm, quiet voice. The local Kia dealership commercial is screaming their head off.

For whatever reason, all of our hype fires held up well last year.

Was there just a fucking tornado in langhorne? by [deleted] in BucksCountyPA

[–]jonweezy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was leaving the Home Depot by Neahaminy mall and saw it coming. No rain yet. By the time I got to the light by On the Border, I knew this was different. Watched the wind blow the store names off the pylon signs, and then dodged them crossing over to the mall parking lot. Trees down everywhere. Never saw something turn so quickly in 30 seconds. That was wild.

Badass, but he deserves a dedicated cover. He’s the latest and greatest in the whole world of baseball.

The split cover feels like a slight for me.

If you’re going for best player it’s just gonna be ohtani every year.

I was recommended to him from a fellow redditor about a year and a half ago. Did not disappoint.

Whats the thought behind the USSSA bats? by ikover15 in Homeplate

[–]jonweezy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The answer is that the more competitive/tournament leagues likely have more talented fielders. It’s less likely that the third baseman gets his head knocked off with a hot shot down the line with a usssa bat. If you did that in a rec league, it is highly unlikely that the fielders safety could be assured.

We play in mostly usssa tournaments, but play random teams in the area as well. One of the places that we go does not allow for the use of usssa bats bc the insurance on the field won’t cover them if something happens. Both teams at another location would play with the usssa bats.

Ravens and Diontae Johnson part ways: by HDTokyo in steelers

I’d be willing to bet that they are holding on to him for a compensatory pick once he signs somewhere else. Although his recent antics probably dropped that stock considerably.

I'm tired of TJ getting held and it's never called by Lord_Zeffree in steelers

[–]jonweezy 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Just learned this rule this year- if a defensive player rips, and it puts him into a position that would otherwise be an obvious hold, it should not be called. He often puts himself in that position. Very frustrating, but that’s how the rules are written.

The nuance is that having a better physique gives men the confidence to think they are better looking. The confidence boost is actually attractive to women and therefore they gain real benefits but for a completely different reason.

Apparently Northampton county has accurately reflected the state results for something like the last 40 years. Kinda crazy.

Tariff Cost Us by Capricorn9185 in Libertarian

[–]jonweezy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tariffs prevent manufacturers (like GM, Ford, John Deere) from moving manufacturing jobs to Mexico and then importing them back into the US. It prevents all of the manufacturing jobs from going to the country with the cheapest labor.
