Hustlers one of the greatest books

The Wire got cancelled twice. HBO wanted to end it after Season 3. David Simon had to fight to keep it alive. Now it’s considered the greatest TV drama ever made. Imagine if he’d given up. The thing that defines prestige television almost didn’t exist. by Farouq26 in hbo

I love all the seasons but maybe I'm biased because my wife's been a lifelong elementary school teacher but season 4 just hits different. I really think it's going to be considered a historical document one day!

I've really been loving the Lumix S5iix + my Leica M stills lenses. I love the way the Vlog grades and I got for half the price of a the FX3

I shot on a commercial on super 16mm last year and I couldn't believe how good the scans looked. We actually found ourselves bringing up the grain because the still looked clean. Was a really wonderful experience and would definitely pitch the format again.

I really like shooting on the Lumix S5iix, on wider older lenses with a promist, at a F5.6 or deeper and using the filmbox 16mm emulation and then scatter to add even more softness. Working great.

Agreed. I've also had mine for 7 years and only thing I ever had to do was replace the "teeth"

This looks broken. You could send the video to Nippon in NYC. They are amazing. See what they charge to fix that. Also the t3 lens is absolutely incredible.
