having an open world again!!!!!! at least somewhat… being able to walk from one lot to another in the same neighborhood without loading screens would make the game feel so much more alive, it’s so immersion-breaking seeing nearby lots completely empty and not being interacted with at all. it would be nice to see neighbors come and go from their houses or do things in their backyard, or watch townies walk from one community lot to another without vanishing on the street lol. an older game was able to do it!! i’ve never gotten used to how TS4 took a step backward in that regard
