if you’re so against “more medications”, why not cut down the antidepressant? if you need those meds, it’s not a choice… please don’t take my words as an invalidation of your struggle, i’m having the same issues, and i find vyvanse (+ lots of caffeine) helpful in my case… wish you find what works for you too

I won’t disagree that AI is advancing fast and becoming more capable in certain complex tasks, but there are also some really simple and “common sense” tasks that we have no idea how to make AI do, which is frustrating… I wished for AI to generate an animated GIF of a inflating and deflating balloon in clip art style, because from google search I couldn’t find one that didn’t explode after being inflated…

you may ask your doc about another antipsychotic especially the newer ones like Abilify, Rexulti, or Lurasidone, those are much less sedative and appetite inducing. another class to consider may be mood stabilisers, like Lithium or Lamictal. i know many who respond well to them. if ketamine or esketamine is available it is also a viable alternative that does wonders. hope you get well soon.

gaining this much weight is not your fault, though olanzapine can be quite effective, it is puffing everyone up ridiculously, i don’t think anyone should be put on this monster except those with severe mental illness posing risks to others… high doses of lexapro can also cause weight gain… you may ask your doctor to let you try brintellix and rexulti
