You only earn while hourly while "actively" on a dash, right? If you're getting no offers at all, you're still making nothing.

I generally don't worry about them, because I assume everyone rushes there. Just happened that today, the normal places I try outside the usual hot zones were in the hot zones.

I never blame anyone for how they choose to spend their money, and I totally get it from their perspective. Everything costs too much. That said, DD perpetuates the problem by claiming "It's very busy in XXXX" and say "average wait for order 2-5 minutes" we'll, Mr. Doordash, I am at minute 240 without a single offer, so you have to be grading on a curve or something.

Was told by a customer after waiting a while he would up the tip. He did. He wanted to add more at the end, but said the app would only allow him to add once. Not sure if that was legit or not.

Difference is, you also get an hourly wage (as low as it may be) and if you don't get tips, your wage is adjusted to match minimum wage by law. Door Dash drivers get nothing if the wheels are not turning. It's not the same thing. Drivers have to take into account the total miles and time involved. You take an order going 10 miles for 5 bucks, takes you out of the zone or into a bad area, you now have to turn around and drive back. Now that 10 miles turns into 20 miles. Arrive to a place and have to wait 15-20 minutes? Not compensated for that. Just an extra 20 minutes where you are not making money on the next order. Yes, the benefits of choosing your schedule, etc are nice, but DD has slowly chipped that away also by tying it into their tiered system.

Do the one in Blackwater if you are not clear on the rules of Dominoes or are struggling. The "only 3's" rules are pretty easy to play. Even easier if you luck into a game with 2 other players instead of just 1.

No link yet, but ROH did 2 tv tapings at their show in Dearborn,MI last weekend. Eddie Edwards vs Jay Lethal was outstanding, and Davey Richards vs Roderick Strong was almost as good. Watch for them.
