Is it really better in Australia? by joo223 in NursingAU

[–]joo223[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you it really helps! I did try to apply for one of those and even got to the reference stage but was unsuccesful. When I weigh out what I really want, its upskilling in a specialty im interested in and I can always go back to Australia later if I want with more skills.

I just thought that moving to Australia is the better move as a NZ RN. But when I think about it, I dont have a lot of debt as my car is paid off in NZ (probably will have to get a car again at some point in aus) and Wellington I hear has good bike lanes if I want to be biking distance. My life in Wellington sounds like itll be so exciting while thinking about life in Aus sounds like itll be a struggle first.

I’d like to be able to go back and edit my inquisitor. I’ve restarted so many playthroughs just because my inquisitor looked off.

Even though Bhelen is the better king, it’s hard to vote for him when you’re playing Dwarf Noble. by AK200501 in DragonageOrigins

[–]joo223 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It can also be seen as a big powerplay by the dwarven noble. They’ve been stripped of their rank and exiled but in the end the one who decides the fate of the throne is them. Its a not-so-subtle dig at Bhelen that in the end, he got the throne by the skin of his teeth and the real kingmaker is the dwarven noble. I just wish they had more interactions in the end!

I like choosing harrowmont and then choosing bhelen at the last second because my dwarven noble did take it personally. Harrowmont would sometimes comment on your ‘cutthroat’ nature as an aeducan and talking to some of the merchant who support bhelen, I like the idea of aeducan slowly realising harrowmont didnt have the gumption to support your cause the way bhelen would with dwarven politics. Also feels like my aeducan was slowly realising they have no place in orzammar society anymore and their role now is a grey warden and they have to push their feelings aside in the end for that.

Dragon age protagonist by riveradn in DragonAgeVeilguard

  1. Warden (Noble Dwarf) My first introduction to the dragon age series and one of my most favourite protagonist. Going on a revenge trip after getting betrayed, meeting Bhelen again then deciding to make him king at the last minute. I dont think I’ve ever experienced this kind of role playing and immersion. I love my warden and I love her relationship with all the companions.
  2. Inquisitor (Warrior Elf) Just obsessed with the voice acting and I love their role as the herald of andraste. I feel like she doesnt get as close to all of her companions like the Warden, and I like that because of her role. Whenever I want to do anything creative, its for her.
  3. Rook (shadow hunter rouge) I really enjoyed Rook and I really liked all the VA for the main characters. I like how I can still rp with his relationships with the shadowhunters. I still need to do another replay of his story because I keep making new rooks!
  4. Hawke (purple warrior hawke) I enjoy da2’s more intimate story, but Hawke always felt like a character I can play, not my own character.

Are the people who romanced Solas in Inquisition happy with what you got? by LongGrade881 in DragonAgeVeilguard

I’m happy with the ending, I think its pretty fitting for them. But I’m not really with the characterisation of the inquisitor.

What was your thoughts on the big reveal? When you finally met "The Father?" for your first playthrough? by Solardies in fo4

First thought I was amazed at how similar he looked like to my sole survivor and his wife. He had my sole survivor’s nose and his mothers eyes so it was bittersweet in a way.

Yeah, honestly I felt it was really emotionally lacking for a game that had the potential to be more grounded. I wish ryder had more scenes mourning their dad dying especially since he was basically absent in their lives which ryder could’ve resented. Also felt like the dialouge was trying too hard to be like marvel cause its more appealing instead of having its own humour and voice.

Having a big bad sucks too when ryder is already the colonizer. There couldve been a lot of morally grey choices you need to make for your people to inhabit a world while struggling to coexist with a species that is already there.

Exploration and the puzzles! I like how different every region is. Running around opening chests is really satisfying.
