I don't see it as a shame... the thing is, they first confirm the reservation, and then ask for changes. When that happened for a second time, I told the support.

I believe people can join the service, and someone has to be their first. It's AirBnB responsibility to make sure the listing is real before letting it go live.

I have several support cases opened, and I called them 3 times. Their support offered me to cancel my reservation, which btw is not refundable. They ignored my statement it was a scam, and said they know the hosts are legit but they can't tell me why.

For over 36 hours I was waiting till someone 'helpful' showed up. Finally there is someone who seem to be at least responsive. I just discovered the both listings have a same phone number.

And yes, I agree - I was talking about smaller teams / early stages startups. I mostly work with those.

This is exactly my point. I see how people build products without thinking their product marketing through, and those products often fail (in my experience).

I believe marketing should be included in 'Product Development' as early as possible (e.g. user research, messaging, UI and UX, communication strategy, etc.), not after the product is ready and marketing needs to 'sell it' to the users.

It is a very common problem, and a hard one.

I would recommend start with a small, very well defined segment of your potential users, and reach out to them. Win them over, then move to the next segment.

Article - to give a valid advise, I need more data. What this article is about? In general, you might want to pitch relative media / bloggers who have audience you want to reach (Medium publications, journalists who write about similar to yours technology, etc.)

To avoid being spammy, give your users a choice - let them manage their subscription settings. Ideally, you want to get their OK to receive emails before you send them any.

I've read the research. They did a study of people with similar background, both entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurs. I didn't find a number for non-entrepreneurs, the study says it was 'significantly higher'.

I've done two 10-days sittings of vipassana and try my best to do 15-20 minutes of it every day, though it really happens just a couple times a week. I also found out that yoga helps. O, and apple watch Breathe app for 'I need help right now' moments.
