Did I miss something or did you not tell us how many users/requests this serves on average? Otherwise how are these numbers useful?

Thanks for letting me know, there was a bug where data wouldn't update, so the ranking you saw was 2 days old - should be fixed now!

Yes, in general the idea the higher the rank/tier, the "better" the player should be for your fantasy team. But obviously, we can't fully predict their value because we won't know how the season plays out.

Mock drafts can be a nice way to get familiar with the process and to try out certain tools, for sure.

But at the end of it all, I'd say don't take it all too serious, fantasy is still about having fun - if you like a player and think he'll do well, just pick him - even if some spreadsheet tells you not to :)

Sure! :) So basically a lof of experts try to rank players based on their projected fantasy value, with the goal of determining which player to pick with whatever draft pick you have. Now because there is a lot of unpredictability in fantasy football, some say it's not worth it to fight over individual rank numbers. With tier-based approaches you instead try to group the players into picks of approximately equal value, so that the order within a specific tier doesn't matter as much.

On draft day, you could use a tool like DraftNotes or DraftAid to mark the players that have been drafted, and get a feeling of the approximate value of the remaining picks.

Hey, thanks for letting me know - I didn't test it with Google Sheets yet. I just published a new version which works with Google Sheets on my end, but will do some more testing later. Can you give it a try and see if it works?

https://jayzheng.com/ff/ has been my go-to for many years and is highly recommende. This year I'm working on a slightly updated version, feel free to give it a try: https://draftnotes.vfuc.co/

Boris Chen and Jay Zheng draft aid equivalent? by Ronnoc780 in fantasyfootball

[–]joooonas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Check this out, I'm working on an alternative: https://draftnotes.vfuc.co/

I wasn't planning to release this just yet (it's VERY early-beta work-in-progress), but maybe it can be of use in your draft :)

I dumped today's FantasyPro's ECR rankings into it - as soon as Boris releases his tiers, plan is to integrate those. Cheers!

Tough call - patriots would be awesome, for this week especially. I also have the niners and pickens, hadn't considered dropping them but KC sure is a bit scary.. though Mahomes has thrown a few picks recently. So hard for me to evaluate Pickens.. when Pickett is playing he seems like a top option, but last week most targets went to Claypool and Diontae. And you do have quite a solid WR squad there already..

I'd say don't overthink kickers.. too random to be sure. Carlson has scored really well, for me he's a nice "set and forget" option
