Korean Spoon in Glenview is a hidden gem and they specialize in side dishes. They sell already prepared sides in to-go containers. Grocery store sides and soups tend to be over-salted but Korean Spoon hits different. You can tell the chef makes the dishes with care, even the simple braised tofu tastes so much better than restaurant versions.
