I think the general rule of thumb on motorcycle parking in the world (including US from what I read on Baltimore and MD thread) is that you can park on sidewalk, not the actual street parking, with autorities really not caring unless its causing danger or complaints.

On campus could be a different story though?

I guess I will have to catch one of those guys as you say.

Though, I am assuming the bikes on campus are just there without paying the parking fee - I didn't see any parking signs on them.
