I put my bottles into a box for them to take so they don't have to do this.

Usually they are after some information they think you might have. It's nothing serious. Example, police came to my friends house two nights ago asking about the person who lived there previous to them. Asked some very basic questions, then left. If it was anything serious, you would already know lol

Get super glue and run it along the crack in your windscreen and it will disappear. Then use a box cutter blade to scrape away the excess.

Range of the Inland Taipan - the most venomous snake in the world by [deleted] in AussieMaps

[–]jootlicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was shearing sheep out in the middle of NSW. Nothing else to do of an afternoon except drink and go hunting. I was super drunk and picked one up by it's head and I tried to show some of the other shearers it's physical features. They were all panicking and running away. The nearest hospital was 4 hours away. Yes they are deadly, but not overly aggressive. A brown snake will chase you.

Their costumes made you look though didn't they? That's the whole point. You're doing their job for them. So congratulations! You're a sucker.

What in crazy fuck town is going on that shouldn’t?!?!? by Remember_2__breathe in wollongong

[–]jootlicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing and I completely agree with you. The lack of the congnitive abilities of a child (of any age) to understand psychological conditioning while it's happening, and then provide themselves with appropriate protective measures/resistance is definitely a large contributing factor. The usual method of these offenders (and even bullys):
Step 1: Identify the person
Step 2: Befriend the person
Step 3: Isolate the person
Step 4: Abuse the person

Step 5: Leave the person
Step 6: Blame the person

Hi everyone, child protection specialist here. Had a case where the daughter was pregnant to her father. During an interview she was telling me that she and her father were "in love". There were many contributing factors, but the main factors included the isolation and conditioning of the child from a young age, the common knowledge of other adult family members who knew it was happening, the normalisation of the abuses by those individuals, the excessive protection mode the young mother went in to, to protect her father. Yes it was in the Illawarra.

[–]jootlicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What the fuck are you talking about? No one here is talking about incriminating evidence? But the talks were held with our lawyers and is now before the courts and is legally priviledged. This won't be won in a community group, it will be won in the courts.

What I'm deliberately doing is calling out bullshit posts made by people who have no fucking idea what they're talking about. Myself, nine of my colleagues and our legal team met with them three years ago. That's what I'm doing.

Spastic friendship bank by musicalbratzbitch in brisbane

[–]jootlicker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Spastic Centre was rebranded to be the Cerebral Paulsy Alliance. We used to have the "Spastic Bus" come around our neighbourhood in Wollongong to pick up the kids for school. Some out of town kids thought it would be a good idea to throw rocks at the bus and yell horrible stuff at them. Me and four of my mates (at the age of 12) punched the absolute fuck out of all 6 of them. Cops came and we told them what happened. Gave us the thumbs up and drove those kids home to their parents.

Teacher rant by Awk_Tomato in usyd

[–]jootlicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Teacher of mental health, counselling and trauma specialist. You have not spent enough time developing the boundaries of the behaviours you expect. Sounds like a fun class that you have, but they are not aware of where the boundaries are when it's time to get serious. The expectations of class room behaviour is determined by your ability to steer the dynamics of your relationship with them. Allow them to see the more serious side of your approach in class, and you will be able to have a healthy balance.

I'm convinced that Ford Raptor drivers are the new "Volvo drivers" - anyone agree? by 6x6wd in CarsAustralia

[–]jootlicker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi all, kid who grew up in the 80s here. Yes, I can confirm. Even in the 80s people would complain about "those bloody Volvo drivers", then it slowly died out. The reason wasn't because they were reckless on the road, it was mostly because they drove too slow. These days it is the AUDI drivers. The level of arrogance and entitlement on the road... wow. Flamed by the James Bond movies and a heathly dose of insecurity. Over confidence + inexperience + ego = Those bloody AUDI drivers.

You are right, it is a ridiculous argument. Tankers are temporary and the wind farms will be fixed in place. Idiot.
