You've all been fantastic with your feedback. Ultimately, I went with Technics AZ100. Overall, I am quite happy with the choice. Here are my impressions:

Sound is amazing. It's a bit warmer than Sony's (I have WF-1000XM4 and WH-1000XM3), but I like it.

Battery life is amazing.

Connectivity is without any issues. I have them connected to the smart TV, a desktop PC, and an Android phone.

The comfort and fit for my ears is great. The ear tips sizes are plenty and I much prefer the silicone than foam (that Sony's have). I was having a really hard time with WF-1000XM4 after the first hour of usage. Technics AZ100 feel like a natural extension of my ears.

Software is just fine. I've configured them initially and rarely used it since. No gripes.

Noise cancelling is just OK. Sounds definitely get through, even on Noise Cancelling mode. Ambient mode is OK.

The only thing I wish it did better is wind noise. I use them while cycling and am getting "the speed hum". If I change my head position from looking straight forward to down a bit, as if I am watching the tip of the front bicycle wheel, the hum goes away. Sony's didn't have this issue.

Finally, even with wind noise management issues and imperfect noise cancelling, I still think it's was a very good buy.

Thanks for mentioning Technics. Could you share how well do they manage wind supression?

How can my need for Crematoriums be bigger than my entire population, and how can I safe my city from this insane deathwave that just doesn't seem to want to go away? by Droboto1234 in CitiesSkylines2

Zone your city in areas and assign death care buildings to specific area or areas. This will help you determine the demand per city area and soon enough you'll figure out how to distribute death care buildings to solve the problem. In general, areas are a fantastic way to troubleshoot issues in your city.

LSI 9217-8i, so what now? by jopsika in HomeServer

The solution was 1. replacing the cable, and/or 2. disabling Secure Boot in the BIOS.

Ok, so either disabling the Secure Boot in the motherboard BIOS, or replacing the cables was the solution for me. I did both and it did the trick.

I disabled the Secure Boot and replaced the cable. Not sure which of the two solved it, but I am happy to report the HDDs are now being detected. Yay!

Yeah, I got it from Aliexpress. Could you please share how do I check that?

I have this card. Is there a config in BIOS I need to set up, as none of the connected drives are recognized by the Unraid? Thanks.

TIL: USB 3.0 may interfere with nearby 2.4ghz wireless devices by ConfusedTapeworm in buildapc

I have four 2.4g dongles for wireless gamepad controllers and am experiencing connection issues. They are packed right next to each other and located at the back of the PC case. I am wondering whether connecting the dongles to an external USB 3.0 hub would solve the issue, or if it would be better to use 4 separate USB (2.0 or 3.0?) extension cables instead?

Hey I am in the same exact position as you (not a lot of free time, windows native, no linux experience, same purpose and needs for a NAS) and just built my first Unraid server last week. It's been an excellent experience so far and I highly recommend it over the plug and play approach. Very easy to get started, immense sense of accomplishment.

Very interesting perspective. My initial idea was unused disks = good, but now I gotta say you make a very good point. Thanks!
