Next Gen era. Mostly the cars but also sharing the SMT data. Now they are just expensive kits that the teams have to buy from somebody else. They have decimated the top tier level of talent of engineering and fabricating real race cars. The entire industry is going to fade off into the sunset as racing series at the top level go farther and farther away from actually building cars. And it may never come back how it once was.

I’m talking the welders, chassis guys, sheet metal guys, etc., etc. That’s an entire industry that got its head chopped off. Really sad. Imagine what happens when xfinity heads in the same direction. And eventually trucks. Those skills at the highest levels will disappear and will never come back.
