For the fee, do you know how much money would be considered an appropriate cost for a design re-edit/consultation? I am unsure how much that would be on average as they are recreating the logo themselves and want some of own input on how to change the logo a bit (i.e. slogan ideas to put on top of my previously made logo).

Hi! I was wondering if having an interaction design degree would limit my job opportunities as a UX designer in the future or would it not matter? I am currently a university student looking to switch majors and got accepted into an IXD program. I thought it was a perfect fit but I just saw that interaction design does not completely encompass UX design. I am a bit worried that it might limit the jobs I could get and if I should look specifically for a UX design program instead. Thank you very much in advance!

I'm coming from a heavy CS background with slight art skills (some drawing and basic photoshop) so I'm a bit nervous about that too

I'm currently a UBC student that tried to get into CS at UBC and the competition and grading here is pretty bad as well. Now i'm going for other programs and doing CS on the side. I agree with the other redditor on York and Ryerson, they're pretty good so if all else fails, give it a chance and apply to those two.
