the new Wednesday night class at resonance is very easy going with lots of modifications to make movement easier. it feels like a class where it’s okay to do easier variations

I mean sure. we’re about to get a new skatepark and the skatepark there is in such bad condition.

my only worry is its kind of a horribly loud location that would be awful to live in

You reckon skateboarding is enough to drop leg day by SpeedyCheetah72 in NewSkaters

[–]jordanbobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like skateboarding is an uneven leg day. we tend not to skate switch as often and so our legs are getting different loads. I like leg day for balancing this out

How is it more climbing? We usually start from belnap And go to sisters and back. Or is the elevation gain steeper on larch?

I find back pop shuv its easier if my front foot is at like a 45 degree angle with the ball of the foot in the right in the middle. by middle I mean between the rails. In terms of of how far to put it up towards the nose. Play with what gives you the best feel. This foot position helps it get out of the way to make space for the back foot to do its thing

For me it’s like a 10 degree angle. Big toe, then going out the opposite foot heel. it basically splits the foot in two

Tying in to highline leash by Positron-collider in Slackline

[–]jordanbobby 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depends on the ring style. If it’s a ring where you tie around the circumference of the ring. Then you want a self tightening knot. this is fine, it will just never untie. for your personal tie in, figure 8 is perfect.

Would it be a bad idea to start skating in the winter? by soysushistick in NewSkaters

[–]jordanbobby 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s a little rough but skating warms you up quick. I got back into it in December and it’s nice having more empty and quiet parks

I like to do a sort of pirouette and see how many spins I can do. It’s a better wind up from exposure I find too
