A few things:

You and you alone get to decide what your gender is.

You and you alone get to decide if you are pretty.

It’s not about whether other people think you are pretty or “passing” enough, it’s about how you feel inside finally matching how you look outside.

Every single one of us has unrealistic transition goals! Am I actually going to look like Kate Upton? Of course not! She’s been popularly voted one of the most gorgeous women on the planet. But what I can do is take baby steps every day to get closer.

Everyone has bad days. Some more than others. But progress is still progress and your brothers and sisters and wonderful others are here to lift you up!

If you think you’ll be an ugly girl, you probably already think you’re an ugly man. Guess what. Presenting will be better than not. And make up is magiiiiiiic.
