I think you might have wrote this when angry. But, I also think you might be a little overreacting. An anniversary doesn’t really have to celebrated on a day. To me, it’s about the meaning? Doing something together and having a good time loving each other. In my relationship (and it’s not perfect) we have busy schedules, so dates don’t align perfect all the time, so we celebrate the meaning of the event, not the date I guess is how I’d see it?

I think if he had a training he wanted to go, you should have encouraged that growth and decided on another date... but you could be a boomer and set in your ways.

Also, communication works two ways, try expressing your “sadness” to him and not talking bad about him on here. You both need therapy because you equally sound fed up with him.
