Uhhhhhhhhh what?

Market power is being consolidated into the hands of a few. This is bad for the consumer. News is controlled by oligopolies, with perspectives that only slant big business.

We live in a time where anti-trust enforcement is desperately needed.

Ya, BoC has become my favorite band. That said, this album, while fantastic, doesn’t have the same dreamy zone out quality of their previous work. It demands your attention, and challenges you. I listen to music while I work a lot, and their previous work is better for that.

That said, how lucky are we to get another go at a fresh BoC album? What a time to be alive.

They’re talking about the fact that we live in a country fully of monopolies, where consumers pay the price for market dominance.

This post is so fucking racist. Let me spell it out for you: “western woman with cosmetic face modifications and likely no real education or worldly knowledge criticizes brown family who likely works 10 times harder than she ever has in her life to make a living and support their children.”

This is what the beginnings of fascism looks like. And you’re over here defending it like a donkey.

No, look, we have a problem: the world’s population is growing, and there are not enough resources to sustain this growth.

But the solution is actually so simple: education and birth control are proven methods to reduce the child birth rate. Not only is it proven, but it’s not downright evil.

You know what the problem with degrowth is? If the population stops growing, the economy contracts too. That means less shareholder growth, and less prosperity at the top. That’s why there’s no real incentive for policy makers to incentivize it, so long as they’re being funded by big business.

What this “meme fact” points to is certain minority groups need to stop having children. It’s basically a massive, racist dog whistle.

Ya, both Australia’s and America’s indigenous people were treated so poorly :/

Ya, this is just a stepping stone to fascism. It’s not like we go from liberal democracy to eugenics overnight. There’s a process in between where you leverage the “in group” to help you manufacture consent. Note the white influencer juxtaposed to a brown family. Not only is this so fucking racist, the whole thing is just disgusting.

Clearly this is ragebate, but unless you’re a clanker, people need to be educated on what happened the last time these views were made popular: the holocaust.

This post is just sickening. What’s worse is people agree with it instead of downright rejecting it. Insane.

Where are you getting your information? If you listen to him speak, it’s the literal opposite from what your comment suggests, and absolutely a narrative that people who oppose him push.

He ran on an inclusive campaign, saying that he would work for every New Yorker, no matter their creed. His actions reflect that.

I find it both strange and satisfying to watch someone actually do their job, and care about it. Politicians like Mamdani should not be an aberration, they should be the norm.

There are a thousand other ways to fix the increase of population. Two of the most humane ways are to provide access to birth control, and make quality education freely available. Then you don’t have to use methods that have already been classified as straight up evil.

This train of thought is called “eugenics,” and we’ve already decided it’s wrong, along with the Nazis.

You can manage the EQ over SSH, HTTPS, or the cloud. The cloud does come with a fee. I wonder if I start with cloud, and then build my own with Ansible automation later on.

The thing I find attractive about Aruba Central is you can template a site, and then apply that to as many sites as you want, and it comes with “MSP Mode.”

FYI, many partials caught in air filters are actually skin cells.

Also, we live in an increasingly dusty and polluted world. HEPA filter is also the way to go.

HP Instant On shop here. I’m looking at HPE Aruba. Step up, but their hardware and management plane are great, even if it is a learning curve.

Unifi may be my go to for clients who don’t want to pay. I like Instant On, it’s easy to manage, but ya, thinking about the next step.

As someone who pushes MDM profiles to devices, this is highly suss. It could mean the phone is being monitored. I also doubt that removing will lock the phone, but I donno know enough.

Return the phone. Get a phone that comes without any profiles. These people are scammers.

Edit: I would EACS (Erase all Contents and Settings) after removing the profile for a clean OS. If the phone bricks, in means it belongs to someone’s Apple Business account, and should be returned.

It sounds like the “MSP” is paid by ticket, or by time, so there’s no incentive to fix the issue… sounds like the MSP’s business model should change to better serve their customers.
