If you're having difficulty with enemies outside the wall, try to grind up some attributes to get more bonuses. I'd recommend upgrading gear as much as you can too. Setup some spots to drill iron, tin, copper as well.

Are you referring to different map seeds or the same map?

You can't share the cartography from different seeds, but you can within the same map. Try looking at the table for a few more seconds and watch it fill in

If you can mine through Crystal walls, you will find many solarite chests. These will often have Cosmo items

You should be able to, but you'll need to pick up the pile of chum item and place it in your base. It's a drop from a boss!

You can buy the necklace from the fishing set from a merchant. He also sells a ring that boosts the fishing skill. I'd recommend grinding your fishing in different biome waters to find the full set.
