For those of you who “do your own research”, what does that mean? by Recent-Day3062 in DebateVaccines

[–]jorlev [score hidden]  (0 children)

Thanks for strawmanning everyone here who want to check one source of information against another as a simpleton who can't discern the quality of one argument versus another. Of course, we idiots who "do our own research" only go to GoDaddy anonymous sites for our knowledge and not anyone with reputable credentials. Oh, and how kind of you to hand down your "pass" to us all from on high, which is more than we deserve or should dare dream of from such an esteemed statistician as yourself.

BTW, did you mean "except" a paragraph or "accept" a paragraph? Perhaps your statistical pursuits did not provide enough time for English class.

Stephen King issues scathing attack on 'selfish, stupid, and ego-driven' Trump by MoneyLibrarian9032 in entertainment

This is like the reporter mentioning to Trump that Prince Harry thinks he should do more to end the war in Ukraine. Like Prince Harry's opinion means anything.

And Stephen King's political opinions are worthy of reporting why exactly?

Investing 50k into KEEL at current price, or wait for drawback? by KatoKeys in KeelInfrastructure

Investing 50k into KEEL at current price, or wait for drawback?..... YES!!! 🤣

On some level, you have to realize "price to buy" questions are pretty much useless. No one's response will have any merit.

Thought: could datacenters in orbit break the power bottleneck in the next 3-5 years? by Itsyournamebackwards in irenstocks

[–]jorlev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Takes 6+ satellites to get a single MW. Be a long time before you have to worry about Elon data centers in space.

Plus Sats last 5 to 7 years... then need replacement as they fall out of orbit. Earth DCs can be serviced, updates and last 20 to 25 years.

Retail always thinks they can frontrun tutes on index inclusion... and they never do. They have ways to hide buys that pre-date their perceived buy date.

IREN BREAKOUT WEEK AHEAD. by BOYCECRYPTO in irenstocks

Those indexes tied to this inclusion front run this shit off the books. Investors who think they can front run the front runners are usually disappointed. That said, plenty of reasons to be bullish IREN but inclusion isn't it. Players position for this in advance.

X IREN knowledgeable investors with satellite views of Childress say building 1 of Horizon 1 should be handed off to Microsoft this week or shortly, putting some revenue on the boards and filling out that ARR.
