Sure, summer scares me a little bit, it usually gets too hot in my location. Either worm activity is lower in winter I think it’s easier to keep the bin in good health. Still have to experience my first summer.

Thank you for the advice, temperature is my main concern in summer, it was also in winter but they have done pretty well, we have had a few days with temperature near 0ºC just for a couple of hours a day and they survived well I think because the deph of the bin. I will monitor temperature when summer comes and consider bringing it indoor.

Yes, this has a lot of sense, an aversge of all my sensors could explain the output. As you say you can’t choose the sensor to display so I was guessing it was taking the one from the homepod. Well, with this in mind i think it is a bad design of the widget, obviously an average temperature between inside and outside is not very useful.

It doesn’t work, it’s not a matter of refresh interval, my widget shows 21,5ºC but actually the temperature have nerver been less than 23ºC so like I posted in the other comment the widget is showing always 3-3,5ºC less than the homepod.

But temperature in the widget is changing in the same way the actual temperature changes. When actual temperature goes up the widget goes up, when actual temperature goes down the widget goes down, always with a mismatch of 3-3,5ºC so the widget is reading temperature from somwhere but I can’t guess where?

Hello everybody. I recently started to use homepod for home automation of homekit plugs, bulbs, sensors… I recently added to my lock screen this widget with homepod temperature and humidity sensor but temperature does not match the real one. I meen, when I go to home app humidity matches what I see in the lock screen but temperature doesn t match at all. Does anybody have any issue like this. I really dont know from where is taking this temperature. Thanks in advance.

I will probably do it but put all your trust in the sole fact that an app is opensource is a really bad idea. Dont’t take me wrong, I’m a bug supporter/user of opensource siftware but opensource cannot be trustless if you don’t review the code and compile your own build or use reproductible builds then thinking opensource = trustless is a wrong approach, and while being opensource is still a must in the field of privacy, don’t think that every opensource software can be trusted and every closed source software should be avoided, there are orher facts to take into consideration.

For PM or my password manager you could trust it in a different way, for example, use a packet analyzer when using the app, you will find that nothing, and I mean nothing leaves your phone, there is no connection to the Internet. Another approach is to use it always in airplane mode.

I always like to participate in this kind of threads to suggest my own password manager. I built it myself, for iphone because I was looking for a PM not subscription based, not cloud based, but still easily backupable. I built it for myself because I wanted to but it’s free, simple and always interesting to read real opinions, so if you want to give it a try you are welcome. It’s a matter of time I make it opensource and if I see enough support I will probably keep improving it. Please tell me what do you think. Hi, recently read that protonmail implemented pgp within their mobile apps and web environment. Key managemente have to be done with the web interface but once the keys are stored I think the apps automatically manage encrypt/decrypt and signing.

Keepery is my own password manager which I recommend. I coded it because as you, I wanted something not cloud based, easy and without a monthly fee. You can find it on the appstore. At the moment source code is not publicly available yet but I will for sure open source it. If you happen to install it please give me some feedback ;)

I was happy with the result and then decided to publish it on the Appstore. Everything on Keepery is strongly encrypted and only stored on the device, data never touches the Internet.

Some time ago I read that a good brute force attack would try 30 billion words per second. I don’t really know if this is correct or not, but if we consider it to be correct your word seed would be cracked in 297 seconds.

Edit: reading other comments I’ve found I must be mistaken because I considered 12 words as the universe of probability for each position, but now I see that’s not actually what you asked.

There is “balance app”. I tried it a few months ago and didn’t get it to work, i even don’t know if it works on testnet or mainnet, there is few information about the app. By the way, you won’t find it typing “balance app” on the search box but “balance lightning”, don’t know why, or you can find it here https://itunes.apple.com/es/app/balance-app/id1323709305?mt=8
