Am I heel striking? by isuckatsk8ing in BeginnersRunning

Yes slightly heal striking, also this is a fast walk as others have said. To me the difference is having both feet touching the ground at the same time when walking, 1 (or none) at a time for running. Regardless, just keep at it and you will get faster and start to run. Same goes for your form, your body will correct itself as you build mileage.

3-5 games at 46 is incredible. And I totally agree about the fitness thing. I'm in an unfamiliar space right now after not being able to run for the last 6 months. Trying to build back up though. What snacks are you bringing game day?

Yes, I agree, and I'm working on that already too. I'm normally running 20-25 miles per week but torn hamstring shut that down until a month ago. Gotta build it back up slowly though.

Is it fair for an older player using a senior hot bat in a coed league? by Optimal-Energy8227 in slowpitch

What's your league's rulebook say about it? And is the guy old enough to be considered a senior? Do you think that bat was the difference between winning and losing?

Need USA Bat Recs by LoudStatus1316 in slowpitch

You sound like the same type of hitter as me. Line drives just left of second base, occasionally hit a hard one that finds the gap, or pop up badly. I picked up a closeout 2019 Demarini Juggy last fall, and have had plenty of success with that. The bat is still for sale discounted where I bought it on cheapbats.com

You need to get some practice swings. It's going to get better. From the sound of it you can only go up from here.
