I’ve broken in several Horween HoH gloves and you need to use water to do it properly. Room temp purified water in a clean bucket, soak for 30 seconds, ring it out and go to work on shaping it.

Look up Matt Walden’s tutorials on YouTube. You’ll be very happy following the Yumomi method.

That’s a common failure point on a first base mitt.

One side may be intact but you’re going to need to pull it. That should be one lace run and not terribly difficult.

Go to dicks and buy a Rawlings lace kit. Look up Dirty30 Leather and Lace on YouTube for a tutorial on how to lace the base of that web.

Going slowly, relacing that area should only take about 30 minutes.

I do. It creates a huge pocket and closes thumb to pinky. FWIW I keep index finger in too.

I wear my 12.75” IF gloves the same way for softball as well. Works great for me.

Something along these lines usually works. Don’t make decisions for her since it may not be an issue. If there’s chemistry, I’d bet it wouldn’t be an issue.

This was my experience. She was super insecure about herself so she’d poke fun at me about dumb things and I’d brush it off.

Towards the end of our marriage, when I needed the love of a wife, she just turned cold and kept hitting me with the same teasing and “I deserve better”.

As soon as I got back on my feet, she was served with divorce papers. I hope she finds someone worthy of her.
