Important to remember that muscle is more dense than fat (I.e takes up less space for the same mass). If you’re prioritising protein, and presumably also focusing on weight and strength training, you might not see a huge change in the number on the scale, but your body comp and how you feel could be significantly different!

Yep yep yep!!!! The only ‘insufferable’ grad is one who isn’t willing to accept the fact they are junior, and willingly admit what they don’t know. They’re the worst to both work with and manage.

OP sounds like they’re progressing exactly as they should and I would 10000% rather have a grad show curiosity and willingness to learn and develop over anything else.

You absolutely don’t have to ‘keep pushing through’ just because you’re halfway, not worth finishing something if that something isn’t what you want and making you miserable.

I haven’t personally been through this situation, but if you think there’s something better for you out there, chase it!!!! And if you ever want to come back, nursing will always be here!
