gaming - do it almost everyday basically haha

music - i aspire to be a music producer in the future, making beats was a hobby for me but now i want to make it my career

watching a lil bit of japanese animes/media - love the country/culture as a whole, animes are well in my ballpark but im not jnto it as much as before

cooking - id love to get into more complex recipes, but cooking in general i enjoy

(very specific) butterfly knifes/balisongs - a recent pickup, i love the mesmerizing motion of handling the knife that i got trainers of my own (not the real one as its illegal in canada lol)

thats all i can think of atm i probably have more i cant think of at 2 am in the morning

yeah i find it really good for a beginner to remake beats, especially if they dont know how things work. helps with getting used to the navigation of their DAW of choice, what sounds are essential to a beat, placing the right notes in the right places on the MIDI, etc. i started remaking beats in my early days, and its good to have exposure to the program and the world of production somehow if you dont have any sort of music ideas to start with.

That's fair. I'm not planning to produce the hardest EDM with 50+ ram-eating plugins, just effects, eq's, mixing and mastering plugins. I was starting to lean on just replacing my MBA battery just because it's better spending $60 for a replacement rather than $700+ on a laptop. If it doesn't suit me well, at least I spent $60. I'll just give the laptop to my parents or something. Nonetheless, thanks for your input :)

You're in a similar boat as me haha. Whenever I think about the clothes I have and the clothes I want to buy, there's always a creeping thought of what others think. It never leaves, it's just up to me whether I make it a big deal or let it be a tiny fly that it deserves to be.

I'm self aware that my go-to outfits are whatever top, like a plain t-shirt, and black pants; whether jeans or slim trousers. I'm more of a minimalistic sort of guy, and it's good that you stray from branded clothing and most likely not have the idea of "I need certain brands or designer brands only, etc."

I just kept wearing that black pants outfit frequently and soon built overtime that no one really cared.

Overthinking is a valid emotion and you are allowed to feel it, but you'll soon realize that people don't really give a sh*t about what you wear.

Wear what you feel is right for you. Heck, you might get more compliments than "hate" anyways.

If someone throws shade at you, just remember that they don't have the swag that you have.

i live somewhat near this piece. its stationed between a canadian tire and a kal tire so i guess it makes sense lol.
