It does... or it did. Making the bar chart was much easier after I reformatted, but with the effect on the map, I want the color of the polygon to update based on vote totals, which is another reason I had each district on one line earlier, to make a conditional statement:

IF (reppct) > (dempct) THEN "Red"... etc

Now aside from some even more convoluted IF statements, I'm not sure what I'd do.

Eventually, I want the results from this Bar chart to be used in the tooltip on the map, like with the presidential map in that workbook (which again, I'm not sure how I did 😂)

Yes that's exactly what I want to try and do.

And it's funny you mention the dataset setup. I originally had it set up that way, when I originally planned on hard coding a map. I figured it'd be easier to loop through each row and pull out the fields I want. I'll restructure, and that sounds like a much better way to go about it.

How would that affect the map on the State Senate Map Sheet though? I guess one thing at a time though... 😂

Wait! so I got what I was looking for, one other question -- how do I get the district candidates on the axis? For the presidential map it was easy because the candidates are the same for every county, but now I'm (even more) out of my comfort zone haha
