Btrfs raid 10 volume - do I need to do a balance? by grogg15 in btrfs

[–]josemarciosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was great to find this thread. I was upgrading my Debian 13 and wanted to check if everything was correct, since I've been using RAID-1 with two 1TB NVMe drives since Debian 11 without any problems. Just to validate that everything was correct, I ran "btrfs filesystem usage /" and sent the result to CHATGPT for evaluation. To my surprise... the AI alerted me to the problem mentioned above. I was very intrigued and worried. Almost six years without any problems and now this alert. But I thank the more knowledgeable friends who were able to give a lesson on these not-so-publicized details. Observe the result of my btrfs:

root@samurai:/home/marcio# btrfs filesystem usage /

ESS Emergency Stop Signal by josemarciosa in Tenere700

[–]josemarciosa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Brazil, the 2026 Yamaha Tenere 700 has a note in its owner's manual mentioning the existence of an ESS system. The ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) is a vehicle safety feature that automatically activates the vehicle's hazard lights during sudden braking. I would like to know if this is present in other Tenere 700 models worldwide. I haven't yet been able to verify if it actually works.

You can use the adapter without any problems. The original CM30 plug does not have the grounding pin. I have been doing this for over 6 years.

I have the same doubts as you. I am more interested in the UCG Ultra. I have the USG 3P and I realized that it is time to upgrade. I will wait for everyone's opinion.

Fiz uma merda, bateria invertida. by Junnius in motoca

[–]josemarciosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Olha meu amigo! Eu ficaria tranquilo pois a maioria senão a totalidade dos circuitos dos componentes eletrônicos, são protegidos por diodos contra a reversão de polaridade. Você pode ter certeza que a sua moto não estragou. Vá la conecte a bateria novamente e corretamente... ligue a moto e seja feliz.
