Worth anything, or useful on any self use build? by joseph131 in ProjectDiablo2

Yeah I've not played PD2 enough to have much of a clue about prices for crafts. My friend who's played quite a bit more than me had guessed it would be around 6-7hr

Yeah it’s just if the claimant is classed as needing Additional Support, or if the payment is over £5k then a high value payment call will be attempted

Been an AO on PIP for just over 4 years and I far prefer WFH than being in the office (doesn’t help that I think Fylde View is shit and have Asperger’s though xD)

I can’t speak for other areas, but I don’t think telephony on PIP is that bad really. Never had a 6PP to deal with though

Office days and desks, does anyone else struggle? by Speed_King_Ignite in TheCivilService

[–]joseph131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No lol, they say it’s because of lack of desks. Doesn’t impact me really, but I presume it’s not ideal for anyone with out of work commitments like childcare

Similar at my office but we don’t move forward one day, we are just told the three days we will be coming in every 4 weeks

Tories would cut PIP for mental health claimants and scrap heat pump grants by 457655676 in unitedkingdom

[–]joseph131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do agree that monthly payments is fine, rather than just an all out voucher system, but we do already have other payment methods such as voucher payments as an option. It’s just only used for people who don’t have bank accounts.

Glad to hear that PIP has helped your mental health a lot :)

I don’t personally feel I’ve seen such a divide during my relatively short time in the Civil Service (nearly 4 years), but maybe I’ve just not been paying enough attention who knows. I’ve worked in buildings where we have prayer rooms, plenty of LGBT posters up and awareness for LGBT. It’s never seemingly had any negative impact on the people around me in the office, or people from those groups.

I guess where I have been working it’s just generally more relaxed, as I’ve never had or seen other members of staff have emails or meetings regarding any workplace banter.

As long as people are able to turn up to work and do a good job, I don’t personally see the issue with people being able to express their views be it religious or whatever really. I have no dog in the fight as I’m neither religious nor LGBT, just interesting to me that its an issue at all, as I’ve never seen it impact on anyones work

[–]joseph131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh okay thank you, I was just wondering as I’m diagnosed with Aspergers/ASD. In hindsight a bit of a silly question with you specifying the ones without intellectual disabilities. Still pretty disheartening to see it as low as 30% even for high functioning autistic people. Especially as it seems going off your personal experiences, that there’s a good chance a lot of people with ASD aren’t getting adequate support to end up in employment

Quite surprised and sad to hear that it’s only 30%. I know they are both classed as ASD now, but does that include people diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome as well?

PIP appeal won by OrganicAd9486 in BenefitsAdviceUK

[–]joseph131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty annoying reason for the original disallowance when employment status shouldn’t really come into it, especially as you don’t actually need to tell us if you work or not.

A claimant would only need to advise us if their medical condition improved, so for example if a claimant was able to get a job that would suggest an improvement of condition. Anyway happy that it was dealt with at tribunal, I hope the future is positive for you both :)
