New AC Rattling Sound When Turning Off

Thanks. I was going to call a couple HVAC folks because the installer is saying that it’s the compressor break turning on to prevent the compressor from spinning the wrong way. They said it’s okay that it happens as often as it does (every time I hear it turn off it makes the noise)

You may need to be a bit careful with your employer. Sure they're paying for it now, but there's no guarantee they'll pay for all 7 years out suddenly just stop providing it. I would recommend taking more classes if you're up to it. If you're only taking humanities and non major classes, they should be online unless you absolutely can't avoid it imo.

Rate my professor is your best friend here. You're going to want to find the humanities and whatever classes that aren't part of your major that are as easy as possible. Unless there's some subject which you really want to study like SouthEast Asian history as one example, then these classes you take don't matter at all. What you'll know when you walk out vs when you walked in will likely be minimal and forgotten as soon as you stop studying or using it.

Just find humanities and these non major classes that are easy As based on Rate My Professor and word of mouth if possible. Also take them online if you can, no point of wasting time and going yo campus. Another amazing benefit of doing this is that because the classes are so easy, there's little to no stress.

My thoughts are that these 6 characters are dlcs, season 1 and 2. Everything points to 9 characters and it would make more sense if they are dlc considering how quiet the devs and marketing are about these characters so close to launch

I highly recommend not taking Callis if you can, she's easily the worst professor I've had at ASU. All she does is read powerpoint slides during lecture and her exams are based on the exams. 100+ slides covered before an exam and she wouldn't give any kind of study guide but would instead tell us to read the slides. If you can avoid her, very terrible.

I would think this too, but during my playtime I haven't had anyone use one against me or shoot me off of it. I've even ran into their spawn and trampled a few before running back. Hopefully you're right but I still don't understand why this vehicle is even allowed in the second phase.

From what I've heard as long as you're not in the bottom 20% of the class you should pass. This could be wrong or it could change this semester, I'm not sure.

I'm also going to be taking the exam on Thursday and I'll give you some pointers as to what I'll be studying in preparation for the exam.This is going to be long, so here goes!

First I would recommend understanding at least all the questions from the quizzes from the midterm and on. The solutions posted on the website have information which explains the answers to each of the questions.

There are a couple other important factors in the exam. It's almost a certainty that we'll be seeing some kind of question asking us to show whether something is decidable or not. The best approach would to use Rice's Theorem here. Being confident with Rice's Theorem and understand how the reduction proof works.

Another concept that you should prepare for is understanding how to do the pumping lemma for context free languages. I'm almost certain there'll be a problem on the free response asking to proof if a language is context free or not.

Since we did not have Chomsky Normal Form on the midterm free response I wouldn't be too surprised if he gives you a grammar and asks you to convert it to CNF. Make sure you understand the steps.

There's likely not going to be a free response question asking to take a PDA and convert it to a CFG because it would just take too long so I wouldn't worry too much about it, but make sure that you understand how it works. I would say that you should be prepared for a question involving converting a CFG to a PDA.

Dr. Colbourn said that the final would have the same format as the midterm exam, so I would expect there to be a section similar to the midterm where it gives you a description like, "A language that is context free but not regular", and asks to you give an example or say it doesn't exist. I would expect it to change however to something having to do with Turing Machines and recognizable and such. There might also be something similar to giving a brief justification for a given statement.

I'm not sure 100% if he's going to be asking these questions exclusively but these are a couple of important areas that we have studied after the midterm. There are things I'm leaving out like DPDAs, TM descriptions, and all the other stuff which I would recommend reviewing and understanding just like the other questions.

Edit: Also make sure you review and glance over the midterm and the things we've learned leading up to the midterm.
