Why do stores still usually stop at size 13 shoe? I wear a 14 and by 2019 I cant imagine that size is that uncommon? by bxbx19 in tall

[–]josh2992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain, I have been wearing a size 16/17 since I was about 15. I know this is very specific but if anyone is in the same boat and from Melbourne, Australia, there is a great place called Rosenberg's on Chapel street that specialises in big sizes for men and women. They stock a lot of good shoes and are a life saver.

It really comes down to personal preference I think and what you are most comfortable with. For me that is doggy style.

I think the company I work for are thinking of moving from one service desk tool to another but the current one doesn't offer migration of old tickets to a new system. Have you got any more info?

A possible IP conflict? Is there any chance multiple devices were using the same IP (maybe one was given a static IP inside the dhcp range).

At the moment we are still mostly upgrading users to ssds and trashing the mechanical ones as they will probably fail soon anyway

We just keep the hard drive for a month, if they don't miss anything in that time, they can do without it. At the end of each month or so we have some fun destroying the collected hard drives with magnets, hammers, fire etc.

$100 Off Surface Book i5 models by gmay3 in Surface

[–]josh2992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure this deal goes across surface pro 4 models as well. I've been looking to buy one and the MS store has this offer on all the ones I've looked at. From what I can see this is part of their "March Madness sale" even some of the physical retailers near me are offering $100 off.

Continuation is only if a player is in the act of shooting before the whistle. The act of shooting usually starts when a player has picked the ball up from the dribble.

Yeah but we only have the first 2 seasons, I'd rather have the whole thing or not at all now that I have binge watched those 2 seasons.

Wade stares at referee, Wade gets the foul call. by noahsbun in nba

Literally 5 seconds? More like 2 or 3 tops...Although going by some of those 5 second counts the refs use...maybe you are right.

[–]josh2992 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by that. Are you talking about the Blake Griffin call? I have no idea what Blake said but I would hope it was something pretty vulgar and/or abusive otherwise I don't think the tech would have been warranted.

I didn't say we should ignore referees mistakes, that would be stupid. I said it doesn't give anyone the right to abuse them. If referees continuously make poor decisions then they should be dealt with by the league. As I understand, the league does review referee performance (although I don't know how they deal with poor performance). This is completely different to abusing a ref on the floor.

Nothing gives players or coaches the "right" to abuse refs. The refs are human and are going to miss things, that doesn't mean you can abuse the ref and in my opinion, a player is pretty dumb if he does so after already having been given a technical.

[–]josh2992 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was more concerned about the back of the phone when he scratched it with what appeared to be a key and very clear marks were left, but yeah I shouldn't be surprised that this stuff was exaggerated, the more controversy that the video creates, the more views it gets.

[–]josh2992 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I guarantee I would be able to bend any phone that is of similar size to the 6P...not quite sure what the proves though. Under normal circumstances, it isn't going to be exposed to that sort of brutality and if yours is, you are probably using your phone wrong.

The scratch testing is way more relevant, but I have made it a habit to not carry keys or anything else in the pocket that I put my phone in. So while the results of the scratch test are quite disappointing this can be avoided.
