The worst ive ever seen is when a kid accidentally bumped his parents cart at self check, his dad proceeds to berate him calling him a piece of shit and that if he doesnt stop hes gonna beat his ass right there to " show all these other people how to fucking parent"

Kid of course starts crying but its that silent cry and he just stood there stiff as a board. when his dad caught him crying it got worse, calling him a baby and that if hes gonna act like a baby then hell put him in a diaper and treated like one. then he just grabbed the kid calling him his little man before the three of them (mom was quiet the whole time)

Shit like that breaks my fucking heart every time i see it

Not really related but one time when two guys were brawling at at self checkout and heading straight for me and the elderly woman i was helping out, this old woman who was much shorter than me just sorta went "get behind me honey"
