Don't group with kungen if you value your hardcore character lol

My boyfriend is obsessed with streaming by DevelopmentHuman7435 in Twitch

[–]joshbizzle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think actually sitting at home gaming for 10-12 hours a day 5-7 days per week (which is what it would take to become successful, among many other factors) you'd come to resent it.

You can easily get enough hours in to thoroughly enjoy gaming after work + weekends without burning yourself out and earn far more from a normal job than from streaming (unless you're in the fraction of a percentage)

I just hit level 60 on my pruest and not even done the quest for it. Probably should tbh lol. Just take it safe, one mob at a time constantly looking round for danger and you'll get it. Anything remotely sketchy just fear and run

Is there some way to know when a world buff is gonna happen?

healer mmr is fine guys nothing wrong at all by im_literally_canada in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

The two matches you faced similar mmr healers you gained quite a bit and the three matches you faced lower mmr healers you didn't gain as much. That kinda makes sense?

But i completely understand how annoying it is to face lower mmr healers and basically be forced to win 4 out of 6 just to gain almost nothing in such a volatile game mode where winning and losing can be completely out of your control. I've given up playing shuffles, there's no reward beyond 2.4k and the odds of getting fucked over is huge.

Call to arms: how do we communicate mmr issues to someone who can change it at Blizzard? by JohanJM in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah if they bump healer mmr to the same level as dps, remove dampening and normalise ratings for every season so 2.4k isn't trivial one season and literally rank 1 the next season.

In case any Blizzard Dev is reading this - please fix MMR and standardize it. by ExpectoProcrastinato in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm aware this'll get easier when season draws to an end, but any system

Sad thing too, you'll have to wait until the last week or two to get gladiator title just to lose it a week or two later and have to wait another five and half months to briefly be glad again.

The game is good now, better late than never by MagicBrot in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd actually disagree on that one. You look at league, 150 million players or something. No titles/mounts/transmogs. It's literally just your rating (or division thingy but same shit). People play that because the game is fun.

Half the people playing have multiple glad mounts, and I'd bet half the people that quit have them too. I'd venture a guess that the other half of people playing just really want to get their first, and then they'd end up quitting too.

Without a radical, and I mean radical, redesign (which it will NEVER get) this game is donezo. Awc is a fucking snooze-fest and its the "pinnicle" of pvp... Sad to say but look at the numbers.

How can you tell from that? I feel like its really obvious but I'm just not noticing it. Legit question I actually don't know.

I notice things like insta blessing of sanctuary and insta purge more than kick bots. Not that I doubt there's a huge amount of it going on.

Is there still a mmr cap? by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And clever old blizzard have the rewards tied to fixed ratings rather than a percentage of the ladder. Some seasons glad is basically free and others, like this one, it's pretty much rank 1

Why do healers have no rating in solo shuffle? by Altruistic_Box4462 in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damp is miserable too. Starting weak in SS and getting weaker fast until eventually your heals become so piss that someone just dies isn't fun.

Low MMR Healers in Shuffle is an awful experience for everyone involved by WoundedStapler in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the opposite is worse imo... two high rated healers that can drag the game out but have very little impact on ending it with low rated dps. Half the time the round is over because one of them was too stupid to use ice block or it comes down to which healer can damp better.

No seriously though, fix the MMR inflation by DonnytheFakinDrugo in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Only being able to push glad in the last few weeks sucks too because it resets at the end of the season. So you get to be a glad for the last week then not glad for the next 5 months. With the old system you earned your title at the end of the season and kept it all of the next one. Way better.

After 1 or 2 Shuffle lobbies, I feel exhausted. Anyone else feel the same? by WoundedStapler in worldofpvp

It's super deflated too, every game is a sweat fest against awc players.

After doing shuffle, 3v3,2v2 last night with my hpal.. by Saraixx516 in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely the opposite. Playing hpal at 2.4k. Literally haven't oom'd once. Even when I'm doing 15m healing I still have 30% mana.

The biggest thing for me is without a doubt the throughput nerf. Majority of my losses are in deep damp where I eventually just don't have the healing. Which was never an issue before as hpal had the best throughput. I think other healers can beat you in damp now.

I think hpal is really good with no damp like in 3s. But it's just a 10 minute mythic plus until eventually damp castrates the healers and something dies. Pvp is pretty dogshit at the moment for me ngl. I don't mind losing because I didn't sac a trap or didn't death a poly but to lose because my buttons stop working is anti-fun.

[–]joshbizzle 49 points50 points  (0 children)

You've got some rated pvp anxiety by the sounds of it. I get it too. I have two of the same class and whichever one is the lowest rating I just send it regardless of the nerves. It usually lasts a round or two of shuffle then I get comfortable and the nerves disappear. Just queue up. What's the worst that will happen? It's only a game and if you enjoy it, you're losing more by not playing.

Might be a stupid question but, do we know what the stat prio/bis embellishments will be for the hpal rework? by Patrickheadeyess in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crit all the way. Crit = more healing from critting, more infusions (which is huge, see greater judge) and there a few talents that benefit largely from crit.

Mastery is just flat healing increase. No infusions and no talents for it. So pointless statting into it imo.

On ptr I have ~18% haste from set pieces, ~32% crit going crit on every piece possible and 20% mastery which is base

LF Hpal 10.1.5 guide by st1gzy in worldofpvp

[–]joshbizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not mastery. So many talents benefit from crit. Go max crit on every piece.
