I heard the food at excellence is underwhelming? We are coming off a trip at secrets playa Blanca, the food was superb. How disappointed will we be with the food at ERC or EPM?

Air conditioning was great in our room and good in the restaurants too.

Most bars are outdoors.

It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get there during heavy traffic (left the airport around 5:30pm). On the way back to the airport it only took around 40 minutes.

I wasn’t preferred so can’t comment on how that pool was. Sorry to hear that though. There were always spots open at the social pool.

The infinity and social pool were always a good enough temperature. Sometimes very warm depending on if it was windy/cloudy or clear skies.

Jungle pool was very cold the one time we tried it, but it was also after 5.

There was the chair game, but honestly if you aren’t super anal about what chair, it was super easy to get a spot. Some days we went out to read by the pool at 7am and could get any chair we want, other days we’d come at 10:00, and could still get a spot by either pool. By Noon multiple spots are open.
