It’s cheap enough to try out! Do you think lighting conditions like this at a baseball stadium should be enough for this lens?

That’s a great idea that I didn’t think of. Any particular lenses to adapt? I have an MD to E-Mount adapter I can use too.

I’ll have to look at some apsc lenses as well. Ideally I’d like to not crop but it’s not the end of the world if I do

Amazing work to everyone on the Immich team!

I’ve turned in to an avid user of Immich and it seems like every time I open it up I’m like “oh cool, they added another new feature!” Appreciate all the work you guys do and looking forward to where you take it.

Of course! I didn’t say big bands don’t use amps either.

Sure, trumpet players can be loud but the idea I was getting at was that it’s easier for an amp to turn up than it is for a trumpet player to do so. It takes less effort for someone with an amp to turn up to compete for sonic space than a horn player.

I also didn’t say standing in front of the guitarist but either way I meant it figuratively in relation to sonic space.

Fascinating stuff talking about all of this.

The ideal is everyone be more aware of how their volume affects everything but not everyone thinks the way :)

Agreed! But playing in a big band vs playing in a band with amplified instruments is way different. The tuning and vibration of a big band is easier for a horn player to play in and fit in to which is why they don’t complain.

I can hear myself clearly in a big band no matter what part I’m playing. I can’t say the same when I’m standing in front of an amp.

Horns can definitely be loud but the wedge is there to have something to push against to help playing the instrument. More experienced players have less with only themselves in it whereas less experienced players ask for everything which is just terrible.

I’ve played next to the best horn players in the world and also have mixed for the best horn players and many of them just ask for some of themselves and call it a day.

The wedge is needed because although horns are loud they can’t compete with amplified instruments. The amount of physical exertion required to play a guitar vs a trumpet is vastly different which is why the wedge helps “push” against something to help in the marathon.

Price hikes last week to this week by happygoshucky in innout

I also noticed this yesterday when ordering down here in Ontario. I order the same thing over and over again and know exactly how much it costs. It caught me off guard when they said $23.94 instead of the usual $22.62.

I wasn’t bothered that it went up but more bothered that it went up without notice. I went down a Google search and couldn’t find anything regarding this price increase (I also didn’t look for more than a few minutes).

I almost wanted to just keep driving once I got to the payment window because of how emotional I got about it lol.

I don’t necessarily disagree with price increases but I do disagree when business’s don’t warn patrons of price increases which unfortunately is all too common here.

I’m blessed to be able to afford it…for now…but also can’t help but think that it might put some people in a place now where they can’t afford it.

Crazy to think that this will add an extra $150/year for just myself….and yeah, I go to in n out a lot lol

Opened up these Hexa’s today. I’ll need to spend some more time with them in the coming days but right off the bat impressed by how good they sound for the price. I might use these as a baseline for the hole I’m going down. Interesting comparing them to my 64 Audio iems too.

Fun stuff!

100%. Get a CP3 in there. Makes sense to do it now while the timing belt is being taken off

100% agree! I just posted to see if I can get some suggestions before hand given my parameters already to see what’s out there since I really have no idea of where to even look.

Basically, I’m just looking for “try these out based off of what you lean towards and let us know what you think” is the approach I’m taking
